From assault to drink-driving - here's who has appeared before the courts in Sheffield

The following were convicted at Sheffield magistrates’ courts from June 18 to June 22.

The defendants have been charged with a variety of offences, from theft and drugs charges to motoring and violence.

Geoffrey Rodgerson, aged 60, of Whybourne Grove, Wellgate, Rotherham: Racially-aggravated threatening behaviour. Sixteen-week jail term, suspended for 12 months, 40 hours' unpaid work, rehabilitation activity requirement, £207 costs.

Malka Mukerker, aged 35, of Wensley Close, Grimesthorpe: Criminal damage, assault. Community order with prohibited activity requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement, £200 compensation, £90 costs.

Jack Evans, aged 24, of School Road, Laughton, Rotherham: Possession of class B drug. Two-year conditional discharge, £106 costs.

Brent Shillito, aged 59, of Trickett Road, High Green: Drink-driving. Banned from driving for 12 months, £150 fine, £34 costs.

Thomas Sharp, aged 27, of Driver Street, Woodhouse: Drink-driving. Banned from driving for 20 months, £120 fine, £34 costs.

Abdullah Obaid, aged 20, of Addy Street, Upperthorpe: Drug-driving, driving without due care and attention, failure to stop for police, possession of class B drug. Community order with curfew with electronic monitoring, banned from driving for 16 months, £180 costs.

Kyle Buckley, aged 27, of Reney Avenue, Greenhill: Driving without insurance, driving without a licence, failure to stop at an accident, taking vehicle without consent, breach of conditional discharge. Six-week jail term, suspended for 12 months, rehabilitation activity requirement, £150 fine, £172 costs.

Abdi Hussein, aged 26, of Hanover Square, Broomhall: Drug-driving. Banned from driving for 12 months, £250 fine, £115 costs.

Cally Bennett, aged 31, of Severnside Drive, Woodhouse: Driving without insurance, used a vehicle without a test certificate, Driving record endorsed with six points, £300 fine, £32 costs.
