First pictures after police swarm Sheffield estate following shooting spree

Police were called to the Arbourthorne area of the city yesterday evening after gunshots on a number of the estate’s streets between 6pm and 7pm.

At around the same time a man arrived at Northern General Hospital with gunshot wounds to his leg. He remains in hospital this morning.

Police are today carrying out house-to-house enquries in the area and to provide reassurance to local residents.
