Cannabis and Class A drugs were seized by officers after a search of a white Ford Focus parked on The Crossways, Manor, just before noon yesterday.

There was nobody in the car at the time.

Officers also recovered the vehicle and a forensic examination will be carried out.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Shortly before 12pm yesterday, Sheffield officers searched a white Ford Focus under the Misuse of Drugs Act on The Crossways, Manor.

“Officers located a large quantity of cannabis and Class A drugs, estimated to be worth more than £70,000. These were seized from the vehicle and the vehicle was recovered by officers.

“There were no occupants in the car at the time of the search, and enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.”
