A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man turned up at a South Yorkshire hospital having been stabbed.
Police were called following reports a man had presented at hospital with a stab wound following an incident yesterday, Sunday, November 13, at around 4.56am, on Waverley Avenue, in Balby, Doncaster.
The victim, a man in his 30s, remains in hospital in a stable condition. His injuries are not life-threatening. The woman is in police custody.
