Doncaster rapper admits sexual abuse of toddler

A Doncaster rapper has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a toddler.

Kieron Cunliffe, also known as Mistakay, appeared in Sheffield Crown Court today to admit six charges in relation to the young girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

The 25-year-old, of Balby Road, admitted three counts of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13, assaulting a girl under 13, taking an indecent photograph of a child and one count of distributing an indecent photograph of a child.

Cunliffe was due to stand trial in May but will now be sentenced on February 26.

His music has been played on BBC Radio One and 1Xtra and one of his songs was also played during an episode of Coronation Street.

One track, released in September 2020, called 'Where I Came From', focused on the estate where he grew up in Doncaster.

Last year he released an album featuring songs about local issues in Doncaster.
