Darnall stabbing: No arrests made as police continue to investigate

Police continue to investigate the stabbing of a man on Main Road in Darnall on Tuesday evening (May 12).

The man was stabbed in the chest at around 8pm on Tuesday evening and was taken to hospital.

Police cordoned off the road while they investigated the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time and police are keen to hear from anyone who may hold information about the incident. Officers especially want to hear from any motorists who may have been travelling through the area at the time who hold dashcam footage.

Any businesses or properties in the local area that hold CCTV footage are also asked to get in touch with police.

The 21-year-old man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
