Sheffield Magistrates' Court heard on September 17 how Dean Gerald Mallinder, aged 48, of Chapel Road, Tankersley, Barnsley, was convicted about a year ago for offences from April, 2017.
However, South Yorkshire Police stated Mallinder had not been made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order at the time he was sentenced so they have applied for a Sexual Risk Order to be imposed upon the defendant.

Mary Rose Macadam, defending, said Mallinder agrees with the making of the order but she added it is almost a year since he was convicted and he has been subject to a suspended sentence order and supervision for two years with the probation service.
Ms Macadam added Mallinder has complied with the spirit of this order for nearly a year and she requested the SRO be made for four years and not the proposed five years.
The police did not dispute that Mallinder has complied with his suspended sentence order since his conviction.
