Concern for missing Sheffield man

A police search has been mounted for a Sheffield man missing from home since Wednesday.

David Smith, aged 50, was last seen at his home in the Hillsborough area at around 8am yesterday.

His family has not seen or heard from him since, with relatives said to be ‘growing increasingly concerned for his welfare’.

David is white, tanned, around 6ft tall, of a medium build and has short, brown hair.

He has tattoos on his forearms and shoulders and it is believed he may be carrying a large blue duffle bag and a walking stick.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident 311 of July 3.
