Hide AdPark and Arbourthorne councillor Ben Miskell said: “People on the estate have had a difficult few months, but news of the attempted abduction has really shaken us all.”
He claimed what happened had left many families in the area feeling nervous about their own children, but told how the increased police presence there had ‘provided some reassurance’.
“We hope that officers will be able to bring to justice whoever is responsible,” he added.
