Police have arrested a 23-year-old man following the attempted abduction of an 11-year-old girl on a Sheffield estate.

The 11-year-old was with her four-year-old sister when they were approached by a man on East Bank Road, Arbourthorne, at 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday, February 13).
Both girls escaped unharmed and raised the alarm.
South Yorkshire Police confirmed they arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the incident this afternoon.
A spokesperson added: “Thank you to everybody who shared our appeal.”
