These sick predatory men have all been jailed this year for rapes against women and children.
In some cases the victims were known to their assailants while others were strangers - often targeted for their vulnerabilities.
One grotesque rapist grinned while having a custody shot taken - having singled out a lone drunk woman on a city centre night out and raping her “repeatedly” in a hotel.
Another was jailed for 28 years for the sexual abuse of a young girl in Rotherham - caught and jailed as part of Operation Stovewood.
5. Benjamin Wilson
Wilson, who smiled when his custody image was taken, raped his "extremely vulnerable and intoxicated" victim after she was separated from friends during a night out in Manchester. She encountered Wilson near a takeaway, where he took advantage of the situation - guiding her into a taxi before repeatedly raping her at a flat. Video footage of Wilson’s arrest shows officers asking the 36-year-old to get out of the shower. Wilson, from Chesterfield, was jailed for 10-and-a-half years. | SYP
6. Shabir Sultani
Bogus taxi driver Sultani, 27, picked up a woman leaving a city centre club - claiming he was a cabbie. During the journey back to During the journey to the woman's Chesterfield home he offered her vodka, which she refused, before forcing his way in her home as she entered. She was raped by Sutltani but managed to force him off by kicking him. Sultani, of Sturton Road, Pitsmoor, was identified using CCTV footage and automatic number plate recognition of his car. He was jailed for 13 years. | SYP
7. Ammar Moqbal
Moqbal, 32, raped a child after giving them alcohol at a party. However the attack was reported when the youngster approached a member of the public to ask for help. Moqbal, of Exeter Drive, Sheffield, was jailed for nine years. | SYP
8. Kings Dimba
"Savage and relentless" rapist Kings Dimba committed a a string of violent and sexual offences against the same woman. A judge said he was “dangerous" and posed a "significant risk of serious harm to members of the public". Dimba, formerly of Albert Road, Parkgate, Rotherham, was jailed for 13 years. | SYP
