A South Yorkshire man was locked up after throttling his grandmother - turning her face red and making it hard to breathe.
Callum Green, 28, had lived with his grandparents since the age of 10 and had done similar on “three” different occasions, Sheffield Crown Court heard.

Curtis Dunkley, prosecuting, said on January 20 an argument erupted at the Doncaster family home in which Green reduced his grandmother “to tears”.
After his sister intervened Green attacked the pensioner again locking his arms “around her neck” saying he would “kill her and make sure she died”.
The assault was brought to an end by Green’s grandfather who called police, said Mr Dunkley. Green had one previous conviction and two cautions for battery, the court heard.
Rebecca Tanner, defending, told Judge Rachael Harrison Green had diagnoses for ADHD and ASD. The judge noted he had now been remanded in jail for eight months.
Green, of Ingram Road, Dunscroft, Doncaster, admitted intentional strangulation and ABH. He was handed 20 months’ jail suspended for 12 months, 25 rehabilitation activity days and made subject of an exclusion zone.
