A thief slashed the roof of a convertible car in a failed bid to steal the car from a Sheffield street

The crook struck in Thorpe House Rise, Norton Lees, overnight.A motorbike was stolen from Woodseats Road, Woodseats, in another overnight offence.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
