Call for Sheffield firms to work with management students
The University of Sheffield's management school is inviting companies to set projects for its masters students.
Projects can help both the students and the city's businesses, according to the university.

Hide AdBusiness development manager Una Moran said: “By hosting a student project, you’re providing a valuable opportunity to the student and your organisation. They’ll benefit from an enhanced learning experience – you’ll get an injection of fresh ideas and enthusiasm, as well as feedback such as a report, presentation or recommendations at the end of the project.
“The process is simple – we collect and agree project briefs between September and December and the company has the opportunity to meet their student in March. They’ll then conduct the project over the summer and will feedback the following September. We ask that the host organisation acts as a guide and facilitator, offering support and access to resources when necessary.”
Masters students have already completed an undergraduate degree, and have chosen to carry on their studies to specialise their knowledge, and are looking to acquire professional skills and work-ready expertise.
Una added: “From evaluating training programmes, to mapping processes, reviewing corporate social responsibility priorities and developing an international marketing plan, we’re open to a huge variety of projects.
