Arsonists set fire to a pile of litter in Wincobank Avenue, Wincobank, at 8.30pm. A crew from Sheffield Central Fire Station was dispatched to the scene.

Two portable cabins went up in flames in Old Bawtry Road, Finningley, at 8.50pm. Firefighters from Rossington and Doncaster central stations tackled the blaze.

A pile of litter was set alight in Smithies Lane, Smithies, at 10.45pm. A crew from Cudworth Fire Station spent 30 minutes tacking the flames.

Arsonists set fire to some grassland in Cross Street, Thrybergh, at midnight. Rotherham Central firefighters spent 15 minutes tacklnig the blaze.

A crew from Rotherham Central Fire Station was called out to tackle a blaze at an industrial wheelie bin at Mangham Road, Parkgate, at 12.30am.

Some cut corn was set alight near Old Hepworth Road East, Hatfield, at 2.45am. Thorne firefighters spent about 40 minutes at the scene.

A vehicle was set on fire in Lowedges Road, Lowedges, at 3.20am. Lowedges firefighters extinguished the blaze.
