The discount retailer was due to open its new outlet on Archer Road, near Millhouses, on Saturday, May 30, but the store is now scheduled to welcome its first customers considerably later, on August 15.

It is understood that work at the site has been put on hold during the lockdown, and a spokesman for the firm said the new launch date was ‘subject to change’.
