Sheffield star influencer Sam Bagshaw meets local homeless pets
During his visit he met Spud the 12-week-old dachshund
Sam Bagshaw is one of the UK's leading stammer awareness advocates and content creators.

With a community of more than one million followers across his social platforms, Sam has become a recognised voice for people who stammer.
Sam, from Sheffield, recently took a break from his busy social media activities to pay a visit to the Blue Cross Rehoming Advice and Behaviour Unit (RABU) on Old Station Road in the city.
During his visit he met Spud the 12-week-old dachshund, a litter of eight-week-old kittens and six-month-old Cookie the guinea pig.

Katy Orton, Centre Manager at the Blue Cross RABU in Sheffield said: “It was a delight to host Sam and introduce him to the pets we are caring for while finding them new homes. We also showed him around our pet food bank which offers an essential lifeline to local owners who are struggling with the cost of living crisis and may otherwise be forced to give up their beloved pets.”
Sam also met some of the office dogs: Rudy, Bramble and Oskar who regularly join their owners while they support local pet owners needing advice and find loving new homes for the homeless pets in their care.
Sam said: “Meeting puppy Spud, guinea pig Cookie, the adorable litter of kittens and of course the ‘ambassadogs’ at Blue Cross Sheffield was such a special experience. It was inspiring to see the incredible work the team does every day, and I was particularly impressed by the pet food bank, a vital service helping people keep their beloved pets through difficult times.”
