These 10 wiggly, smiley dogs are pulling the most loving faces while patiently waiting for their new owners.
They are waiting with the kind folks at South Yorkshire charities such as Helping Yorkshire Poundies, Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, the RSPCA and Blue Cross for someone to snap them up.
They include Skye the Husky - “affectionate, intelligent and full of character,” this beautiful girl would love opportunities to socialise with other dogs in time.
There’s also Arlo, a cocker spaniel pictured showing off his belly, which Blue Cross say is his signature move to those he trusts.
Or maybe you could bring home Matthew, an “active, inquisitive and bouncy” young Lurcher who will give his new owners a daily dose of Lurcher Zoomies.
You can find a link to their adoption pages in each of the pictures below. In the meantime, enjoy having a look at these 10 endearing dogs.

9. Bernard the French Bulldog - he will climb on your knee for fusses, cuddles and kisses
"Being a French bulldog he sadly doesn’t come without a few health issues stapled to his breed. For this reason, we are looking for a flat faced experienced home or a family that have done extensive research and are comfortable managing and affording these for the rest of his life. He suffers from itchy skin (allergies) that he currently on medicated baths and medication to help sooth him but we will discuss more with adopters. Bernard was a little nervous on arrival but that didn't last long - and he has been nothing but super friendly to everyone he meets, including the canine variety and he loves the vets! He adores to be with you and loves going on adventures. He will climb up onto your knee for fusses, cuddles and kisses! Typical of the breed he doesn’t know what personal space is!!" - https://www.rspca.org.uk/local/sheffield-branch/findapet/details/BERNARD/BSA2150289/rehome | RSPCA

10. Happy the French Bulldog x Staffie cross - once found all alone, now a waggy tail sweetheart
"Being a French bulldog x Staffie he sadly doesn’t come without a few health issues. For this reason, we are looking for a flat faced experienced home or a family that have done extensive research and are comfortable managing and affording these for the rest of his life. He suffers from itchy skin (allergies) that he currently has special food and a monthly injection to manage this but we will discuss more with adopters. Happy found himself in RSPCA care back in January 2025 - when he was found all alone - in poor living and body conditions. On arrival he was skinny, limping and in urgent need of vet care for his sore skin and ears! Thankfully with the help of the amazing Inspectorate and Vet team they got him out and on treatment before he came to us to start his recovery.
