These 10 wiggly, smiley dogs are pulling the most loving faces while patiently waiting for their new owners.
They are waiting with the kind folks at South Yorkshire charities such as Helping Yorkshire Poundies, Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, the RSPCA and Blue Cross for someone to snap them up.
They include Skye the Husky - “affectionate, intelligent and full of character,” this beautiful girl would love opportunities to socialise with other dogs in time.
There’s also Arlo, a cocker spaniel pictured showing off his belly, which Blue Cross say is his signature move to those he trusts.
Or maybe you could bring home Matthew, an “active, inquisitive and bouncy” young Lurcher who will give his new owners a daily dose of Lurcher Zoomies.
You can find a link to their adoption pages in each of the pictures below. In the meantime, enjoy having a look at these 10 endearing dogs.

5. Arlo the cocker spaniel - "affectionate, fun-loving and desperate for a family life"
"Arlo is a fun-loving and affectionate young dog who loves being involved in family life. Described as the “most lovable dog ever”, he forms strong bonds with his favourite people and enjoys everything from playtime to training games that keep his clever brain busy. He is a confident and friendly dog who greets visitors enthusiastically and is always keen to make new friends. An active home that can provide plenty of exercise, training and opportunities to use his nose would be ideal for Arlo. He loves toys, especially balls, squeaky toys and tug games, and would thrive with owners who enjoy continuing the positive training he has already started." - https://www.bluecross.org.uk/pet/arlo-1189268 | Blue Cross

6. Macy the American Bulldog crossbreed, who maybe doesn't realise how big and strong she realise is
"Macy is a very lovely girl, though she may not quite perceive her impressive size and strength, she really is a big softie who loves play, attention, and cuddles.Macy really likes to chew,it’s a big de-stressor for her and we try to enable this with a variety of bones, softer toys and chews for her. She can be a bit nervous when left alone but we have found if she’s been to the toilet or has been on a walk or had some play, she tends to settle far better and is a good girl when by herself. She’s still learning what is and isn’t hers, most of her cheekier behaviour is done directly in front of us, indicating an attentional need." - https://www.rspca.org.uk/local/sheffield-branch/findapet/details/MACY/BSA2147309/rehome | RSPCA

7. Matthew the Lurcher - be prepared for a daily dose of Lurcher Zoomies
"Matthew is a very active, inquisitive, and bouncy young guy (18months to be approx.), who has endless amounts of energy, loves life, and sees everything as something fun. He is currently all leg at the moment and is still learning how to control them – so he dos often forget and accidently bop you but has still only a baby so we can let him off! He loves to be up close and personal with you and will climb up onto your knee for fusses, roll over on his back for tummy rubs and of course lots of cuddles and kisses! This is of course after his daily dose of lurcher zoomies – the boy is fast!! He really is such a lovely boy, who sadly needs that bit of extra support, but in return he will shower you with love." - https://www.rspca.org.uk/local/sheffield-branch/findapet/details/MATTHEW/BSA2149933/rehome | RSPCA

8. Mira the German Shepherd, who gives windows "nose art"
"Mira is a gentle, loving, and playful girl. She does place her toys either on your lap or at your feet to play with her. She also likes looking out the windows and giving the windows her best nose art. She's travels well in the car, just lays down in the back seats. Sadly Mira was diagnosed with Hip Displaysia - however with some short term treatment - alongside hydrotheropy Mira has gained muscle and is now walking and doing really well. So much so the vets are really pleased and feel as long as she is managed well there is no reason she wont live a happy life. Thankfully she enjoys splashing around in water and lovess Hydrotherapy, which she will need to carry on with, alongside joint supplements to help her joints in the future." - https://www.rspca.org.uk/local/sheffield-branch/findapet/details/MIRA/BSA2150157/rehome | RSPCA
