We have an adorable round up of 14 rescue dogs who are currently in need of a home.
All these pups are staying at Helping Yorkshire Poundies, and there are some real personalities who just need their perfect family.
Lucky, a cocker spaniel x basset hound, has lived up to his name - he was hit by a car earlier this year and broke his pelvis, but has made a great recovery.
Lucky is a 3 yr old Cocker Spaniel x Basset Hound, and is the most lovely chap. He was sadly hit by a car a few months back and broke his pelvis. He had surgery to repair his pelvis and he has recovered well – he is just a bit stiff on his back leg when he first gets up. Despite all he has been through, Lucky has been nothing but friendly to everyone. He is a little star who deserves a 5* home with only the best from now on. | HYPS
This big, bouncy girl is looking for a home who know and love Bully breeds and their exuberant personalities. Gloria is only young – around 2 years old - and is a medium-large sized Crossbreed. She was sadly found tied up and abandoned. She tries her very best to be the best girl, and does know some commands/will follow instructions, but can get super excited and has a habit of jumping up at people. Because she can be a boisterous girl, she wouldn’t be suitable to live with children. | HYPS
Lovely Rusty is 12 years young and has sadly found himself needing a home for his senior years. He was an unclaimed stray. He is a very friendly Staffy cross who loves everyone he meets. He is still a happy, bouncy boy – a typical Staffy who doesn’t know his age. He has been seen by a vet and is in good health. He does get a bit stressed in new environments, but he soon settles. He’s now in a foster home where he has settled in well, and was fast asleep snoring off the stress of kennels after a matter of a couple of hours. | HYPS
HYPS said: "Poor Percy pug - he’s been waiting for a forever home for almost a year. He’s so sweet - dog, cat and child friendly. His only issue is that he is stressed/‘reactive’ on lead around dogs. Great in the house with dogs, and visiting dogs. Hes just anxious on lead and needs quieter walks." | HYPS
