Sheffield Council’s Stray Kennels have 27 dogs listed as up for adoption right now.
Most of them were sadly found as strays, and the rest are there through no fault of their own.
One of them is an unnamed 10-week-old Belgian Malinois.
If you’re thinking of getting a dog, why not adopt and give one of these pups in need a home?
The 14 photos of them below include the description of them from the shelter.
If there are any you think you could adopt, enquire through the shelter’s website.

9. Unnamed Staffy
"This lovely lady was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. Unfortunately she is not microchipped so we don’t know her name or exact age but have aged her at around 7 years. Initially when arriving at kennels she was very scared of staff and growled. Eventually with patience and lots of treats we won her over. She now happily greets staff and loves getting plenty of attention and ear scratches. We have seen no issues around other dogs in kennels. She stays clean in her kennel over night so we suspect she is housetrained. She knows basic commands such as sit and paw. We think she would be best suited to a quiet home for her without young children." | Sheffield Council Stray Kennels

10. Unnamed Belgian Malinois
"This lovely pup was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. She is only around 9/10 weeks old. Being a Belgian Malinois, she will need a very experienced and active home without young children." | Sheffield Council Stray Kennels

11. Odin
"Odin was picked up after being found roaming as a stray. He has just turned 1 year old. He was a little timid when arriving at kennels but is now much happier and more confident. Odin has a very sweet temperament and loves nothing more than a good fuss! Odin tries to stay clean in his kennel but needs further training including house training and needs socialising with other dogs. Odin needs a Staffy-loving home that can give him all the attention and fuss deserves!" | Sheffield Council Stray Kennels

12. Unnamed Staffy
"This lovely boy was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. He is unfortunately not microchipped so we don’t know his name or exact date of birth but have aged him around 3 years old. Initially upon arrival at kennels he was a little wary and unsure but never showed any form of aggression. He is now in typical Staffy style, giddy and excitable, and loves nothing more than to lean on you for a good fuss. We have seen no issues around the dogs he is kennelled next to. He tries his best to stay clean in his kennel which is a good indicator that he may be housetrained." | Sheffield Council Stray Kennels
