Megan is such a little character, and despite being 12, is fit as a fiddle. She is a Patterdale cross and is looking for a home who know and love Terriers. Megan is a little star who loves to play with her toys, loves her food, loves her walks and loves to hop up onto your knee for a cuddle! She is totally clean in her kennel, so appears to be housetrained. She hasn’t shown much interest in other dogs so far – no aggression at all, but equally hasn’t been particularly interested in interacting, so may be happiest as the only dog or with a very calm dog who will be independent of her. | HYPS
"Handsome Franklin is a 2 yr old Cane Corso who will make the most amazing companion for a breed experienced, confident family. He is an absolutely lovely lad who adores his people and is a big, goofy puppy. His main issues lie with his lead walks – he is reactive to dogs/people and traffic when on the lead – he cannot cope with walks in busy areas and needs to find a home in a countryside/more rural setting and be confidently and safely managed on his walks. He is brilliant around the house – fully housetrained, can be left for a few hours with no issues. Franklin loves to run and play with other larger breed dogs – he may be able to live with a friendly large breed female with the right savvy family. No cats! He will need a child free home. Franklin’s breed is naturally protective and territorial, so he will need careful introductions to visitors and an owner who is understanding of the breed. He will make THE most fantastic companion for his lucky new family – he just needs to find the right people for him." | Helping Yorkshire Poundies
"Bodhi is a very special boy who needs to find an experienced, understanding home. He is 8-9 years (very!) young and is a very handsome medium-large Crossbreed who is around 30kg. Bodhi arrived with us in the most terrible shape – he was very underweight and had terrible sore skin and fur loss. Saddest of all was that he was absolutely petrified and untrusting. It took time to build up Bodhi’s trust in us, but he transformed into a loveable, playful goofball full of kisses and cuddles! BUT, Bodhi does not trust strangers, and needs very slow and careful introductions to anyone new. When Bodhi loves you, he really loves you and you’re his for life. He is such a cheeky character who ‘talks’ to you when he wants to play and is very vocal! He is a very intelligent boy who has an incredible nose and would love to do scent work type activities. He is absolutely brilliant around the house – fully housetrained, totally fine to be left alone for 5-6 hour periods at a time and he loves to snuggle on the sofa watching TV! Bodhi suffers with allergic skin disease, and will need medication for life (Apoquel tablets and steroids) to stop him flaring up and becoming very sore. He finds walks in busy areas very stressful, so needs his walks to be in quiet countryside areas where he can do lots of sniffing and scent tracking. Bodhi will be the most loyal, loving companion for his new owner – he so deserves to find a loving home of his own – he really is such a special boy." | Helping Yorkshire Poundies
