If you’re stuck for things to do over the Easter holidays, but are wary of your bank account (especially with the rising cost of living), here’s a few things you can be doing to stave off the boredom.
5. Drop in and Draw
Hosted at Sheffield Library on April 29th, Drop in and Draw will give you a chance to harness your inner creative spirit without the fear of judgement. Simply relax, unwind and draw whatever comes to mind. Photo: -
6. Historic Canal Walk
The Historic Canal Walk along Sheffield and Tinsley canal occurs on the first Sunday and the second Tuesday of every month - as such, one will be held on the 12th of April. It's a very relaxing waterside walk and is great for purging any negative thoughts from your mind. Photo: Chris Etchells
7. Truth and Trust: A Writing Workshop
Truth and Trust: A Writing Workshop will be held at Sheffield Central Library on April 23rd. Similar to the drawing workshop, this is a great chance to let your creative juices flow and write something. It's open to both experienced writers and beginners, so don't worry about having your work judged! Photo: -
8. Family Board Game Extravaganza
Another event held at Sheffield Central Library, this one is set to take place on April 12th. It's a great way to spend some quality time with your kids, who will also love the experience. You're encouraged to book in advance, but drop ins are welcome too. Photo: -
