Here's all the garden centres in the Sheffield area that have reopened

Social distancing must be maintained, however. Here is a list of garden centres in and around the city that are welcoming customers, as well as those which remain closed.

Birley Moor Garden Centre was among hundreds of garden centres across England to bounce back into business on Wednesday. They have issued a safety message to all customers visiting the store.

Valleyside Garden Centre is also reopen. The business said they will be allowing a limited number of cars inside the car park to allow customers to social distance.

Loxley Nurseries has reopened but with reduced trading hours of 10am to 4pm. A one-way system is in place in the main shop area and customers may have to queue to get in.

Homebase, which has a store in Drakehouse and another on Chesterfield Road, has also reopened, with additional safety measures in place. B&Q and Wilko, which both sell garden products, have kept stores open throughout lockdown.

Dore Moor Garden Centre has announced it will reopen on Saturday (16 May).

Loxley Garden Centre remains closed but is offering an online delivery service.

Wentworth Garden Centre in Rotherham has reopened, as has Ferndale Garden Centre in Dronfield.

New Leaf Plant Centre, also in Dronfield, remains open for deliveries only. The company said it would not reopen on 13 May but is working towards opening “in the very near future”, though an exact date was not given.
