Haunted pub, city centre building and former Citizens Advice office sold in £3.8m Sheffield auction

A pub said to be haunted, a city centre building and a former Citizens Advice office were among the lots sold in a Sheffield property auction.

Mark Jenkinson held the online auction on July 13 and it featured 30 lots, of which 80% were sold for a total of £3.8m.

Highlights included a building off Fitzalan Square in Sheffield city centre which sold for four times the guide price and Ye Old Harrow pub on Broad Street which sold for £301,000, wel above the guide price.

The former Citizens Advice building on Spital Hill also proved popular, selling for £323,000 after being listed with a guide price of £175,000.

Auctioneer Adrian Little said: “These were particularly popular lots and the auction went extremely well. The majority of lots went above guide price, some substantially so.”
