Sheffield music legend Richard Hawley celebrated his new record deal with a spicy treat at his favourite restaurant.

Hawley was seen in Prithiraj, an award-winning Indian restaurant on Ecclesall Road, to celebrate signing a new record deal alongside family and friends.
During the celebratory meal, Hawley enjoyed the 'Richard Hawley Special', his favorite dish at the establishment.
Known as one of Britain’s best singer-songwriters, his home-grown and city-based songs have brought joy to millions.
Speaking to The Star, Shain Miah said: “It meant a lot to us that after such an important day, Prithiraj was his first choice and the place he wanted to come to celebrate.”

“We’re incredibly grateful that he considers us his favourite restaurant and has made us part of so many special occasions over the years.”
Hawley was surprised with a cake and a bottle of Prosecco while at the popular restaurant. Shain said: “One of the most memorable moments for me was seeing him give our chef (and owner, Sobuj Miah) a long hug. It was such a meaningful gesture, especially coming from someone who means so much to Sheffield.

“Richard has been such a valued part of the Prithiraj family over the years. We wish him nothing but the very best with this new journey — and hopefully there are plenty more celebrations to come at Prithiraj!”
