The Government gave them the go-ahead to reopen from Saturday, July 4, provided measures are in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus, when it announced the latest easing of lockdown measures.
But many watering holes in Sheffield have decided to wait a little longer before reopening, saying they want to take more time to get things right before customers can return.
For some venues, that’s a few extra days, while for others it could be several weeks or even longer.
