Popular Sheffield city centre bar Maggie May's applies to extend opening hours
The pub is hoping to remain open later throughout the week
A city centre bar is applying to extend it’s operating hours.
Maggie May’s on Tippet Lane has submitted an application to Sheffield City Council’s licencing committee to alter it’s opening hours.

Currently, the bar is open until 11.30pm on Sundays and Wednesdays;1.30am on Thursdays, 2am on Fridays, 2.30am on Saturdays and 10pm on Sundays.
However, new plans would see it open until 2.30am Sunday to Thursday.
A public notice released on September 24 adds: “To extend licensable hours Sunday to Thursday to 2.30am, including recorded and amplified music.
“Alcohol will be for consumption on premises during these hours.”
A public consultation on the matter is running until September 30, with interested parties advised to make representations to the council.
