Palm West Street will open its doors today (Friday, September 25) at 10pm, bringing a Caribbean-inspired cocktail menu, food and bottomless brunch to the city centre.

The venue is taking over the site at 138 West Street, which was previously home to FirePit Rocks for more than eight years.

Palm already has a venue in Kelham Island which opened in November 2025.

Both venues are described as a ‘Caribbean garden bar featuring tropical greenery, music and an outdoor-inspired atmosphere’, though the West Street location is said to have a ‘tropical twist’.

The new venue will serve ‘tiki-inspired craft cocktails’, alongside a menu of Caribbean-inspired dishes.

Food options include jerk chicken burgers, curry goat, jerk cauliflower steak, jerk chicken and steak tacos, wings and loaded fries.

Vegetarian and vegan dishes, including chickpea and pumpkin curry and BBQ bean tacos, are also listed on the menu.

Cocktails are priced at £10.95 for classic options and £11.95 for signature drinks, according to the venue’s website. Draught beer is listed at £5, and a small glass of wine is £10.

In a social media announcement, Palm said: “Say hello to the newest addition to West Street… Palm

“We’re here to bring you incredible cocktails, Caribbean vibes, and a new favourite spot to add to your list.

“We officially open next Friday, 25th! And we want to see you all there.

“Come and discover our cocktail menu, soak up the atmosphere and, of course, get involved in our Bottomless Brunch, because weekends are made for it”

The venue has announced that bookings are open ahead of its launch.
