Chef behind smash hit Michelin Sheffield restaurant JÖRO booked for James Martin's Saturday Morning on ITV
Watch Sheffield’s premiere chef dazzle James Martin and his celebrity guests this weekend
The brains behind a Sheffield restaurant recently named one of the best in the country will dazzle on national TV tomorrow.
JÖRO restaurant’s own Luke French will appear on James Martin’s Saturday Morning on ITV on Saturday, September 19 at 9.30am to showcase his Michelin-starred skills.
The weekend TV staple features recipes and cook-alongs by British personality James Martin along with special guests cooking in the comfort of his own home.
In a post to their official Facebook page, the JÖRO team announced Luke will join James to “share his passion for food, creativity and everything that makes JÖRO so special”.
“Tune in this Saturday to catch JÖRO Chef Patron Luke French cooking our Chalk Stream Trout dish for James and his celebrity guests,” the post reads.
“Anyone that’s been to JÖRO will have had this popular dish. Tune in to see what James thinks to it!”
Celebrity guests this Saturday include lead singer of The Script Danny O’Donoghue, renowned chefs Dipna Anand and Tony Tobin, as well as ‘The Dogfather’ Graeme Hall.

It comes after the Oughtibridge fine dining restaurant, owned by chef Luke French and Stacey Sherwood-French, was ranked 13th in the UK in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100.
The restaurant also celebrated another success on the night, with Junior Sous Chef Ashley James being named one of the National Restaurant Awards' Rising Stars, which recognises emerging talent in the hospitality industry.
JÖRO earned Sheffield's first Michelin star in more than a decade after inspectors praised its "focused and flavourful" cooking, confidently creative tasting menus and excellent service.
The Michelin recognition came shortly after JÖRO relocated from its former home at Kelham Island's Krynkl development to a smartly converted 300-year-old former mill in Oughtibridge.
