Popular Sheffield food hall Cutlery Works celebrates eighth anniversary
Cutlery works celebrates their eight year anniversary.
Cutlery Works are preparing for celebrations as they enter their eighth year as one of Sheffield’s most loved food halls.
To mark the milestone, the food hall is bringing back its most popular cocktail, serving up exclusive birthday dishes and hosting a programme of events from October 31, to November 8.

Since they first opened in 2018, Cutlery Works became a much-loved destination for independent food and drink, bringing together the people of Sheffield to enjoy a range of delicacies.
Matt Bigland, CEO of Blend Family, said: “It’s hard to believe eight years have passed since we first opened the doors to Cutlery Works.
“What started as our first food hall has become such an important part of our story, shaped by thousands of guests, Food Partners and team members.”
Blend Family is a hospitality and food hall operator that owns Cutlery Works, in fact, it was their first food hall they opened and has since been joined by Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield.
Their popular cocktail, the cherry bomb, has returned for a limited time ahead of their anniversary - it involves a fruity mix of gin, maraschino liqueur, cherry syrup, fresh lemon juice and soda.
Guests also have the chance to win a £50 food and drinks voucher by taking part in the “Then and Now” competition. This involves sharing a throwback photo alongside a present-day recreation and tagging Cutlery Works in the post.

On Saturday, November 7, there’s a special Blend & Shake Cocktail masterclass from 12:00pm to 1:00pm where you can make two cocktails, Cherry Bomb and Peach Picante, for £8 per person, reduced from the usual £30 ticket price.
From 4:00pm to 9:00pm on the same day, music lovers can bring a favourite 7-inch record to the open Vinyl DJ Session, with guidance available for beginners and experienced collectors alike.
There will also be a free tote bag screen printing workshop with Printed by Us, where guests can create and take home a personalised birthday keepsake.
A nostalgia themed children’s party will take place on Sunday, November 8 from 10:00am to 12:00pm - so there’s an event tailored for all ages.
Throughout the celebrations, Food Partners will serve up a selection of limited-edition birthday specials, including Loaded Spicy Smash Burger Tots from Jimmy’s Burgers, Volcanic Loaded Fries from Dodo, Birthday Brownies from Butcher & Catch, Pumpkin Katsu and Zombie Gyoza from That Kick, and a Birthday Waffle from CJs.

Other highlights include specials from Greek Gods, Fuego, Ma-Ba and Flames of Deccan, plus two coffees and two cakes for £8 at Foundry.
Mr Bigland added: “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey and supported us since day one. We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with the community, with great food, brilliant events and plenty of opportunities to make new memories.”
