Crepes & Cakes Sheffield: New dessert restaurant opening on Ecclesall Road is giving away 100 free crepes

Crepes & Cakes is opening on Ecclesall Road this Saturday, November 12. All you need to do to take up its offer of a free crepe is to like its Facebook page and be one of the first 100 people in the queue when it open at 12pm that day. The restaurant also offering buy one get one free for bubble tea throughout the opening day.
Tazim Akhtar, the restaurant’s owner, told how opening a dessert shop is something she’s ‘always wanted to do’. “From a young age I’ve liked the idea of baking cakes and crepes and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” she said. “When I was younger I would always look into the cake shops and the image has stuck in my mind.”
Tazim bought the premises 12 months ago and since then has been renovating the store ahead of the launch on Saturday. “We’re excited, it’s a new venture that we’re doing and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes and hoping for the best,” she said.
