New £37m Gulliver's Valley theme park issues exciting update as it welcomes new arrivals

The huge new venue beside Rother Valley Country Park, in Rotherham, was forced to postpone its planned spring opening due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But building work resumed earlier this month and bosses have said they are looking at how to implement social distancing measures before they announce the new opening date, subject to further government announcements.

The 250 acre theme park, just over the border from Sheffield will eventually boast more than 70 rides and other attractions, and will include a tribute to South Yorkshire comedy legends the Chuckle Brothers.

It revealed this week that the dinosaurs had arrived in its Lost World zone and shared these photos of the Jurassic giants in their new habitat, where the Paragliders ride can also be seen.
