The Peace Gardens, off Pinstone Street, in Sheffield city centre, will again be transformed into a beach resort with plenty to entertain youngsters, including fairground rides, a giant sandpit and games, with the fountains running as usual. Sheffield by the Seaside will be open from Thursday, July 27 to Tuesday, August 29, from 10am-6pm each day.

The full list of attractions at this year’s event has yet to be announced but last year they included a helter-skelter, bouncy play area, giant swings and food stalls selling refreshments including cheeseburgers, hot roast pork, fish finger butties, doughnuts, candy floss and slushy drinks.
