Sheffield has produced some pretty good bands over the years.
From big names in the 60s, to one of most famous and successful bands in the country at present, the city has had an impressive track record when it comes to hitmakers going on to make a name for themselves.

9. Bring Me The Horizon
Since their This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For EP in 2004, Bring Me The Horizon have produced an eclectic rage of songs, headling at Reading and Leeds, and performing with Ed Sheeran at the BRIT Awards. Drown was their highest charting single, reaching Number 17 in December 2014. Photo: Scott Merrylees
Reverend and the Makers hit the big time in the 2000s, with their top 10 hit Heavyweight Champion of the World, with He Said He Loved Me also a hit the following year. They have remained well known throughout Sheffield. Picture: Graham Walker Photo: Graham Walker
Perhaps Sheffield's first pop star, Dave Berry, from Woodhouse, is pictured, centre, at the Boardwalk. Initially performing as Dave Berry and the Cruisers, he had a string of hits in the 60s including Crying Game in 1964, and Little Things, in 1965. Both were top 10 hits, and we still love to hear them. Photo: Roger Nadal
