Sheffield homeowners create artistic tribute to our NHS

“A picture speaks a thousand words” is a popular phrase that is probably used too often, but in the case of one Sheffield homeowner it’s perfectly apt.

Luke Kelly 30 and Carra Chady 27 from Heeley, have lived in their home for just over a year now.

Luke has lived in the area for most of his life and Carra is also from Sheffield.

“We’ve always been interested in doing something on the house, for a while now.”

“Originally the mural was just going to be just the boy with the heart. Given everything what’s going on, we decided to tweak it with NHS sign” said Carra

The artist, who goes under the name Bubba2000, has already done a couple paintings with a NHS connection

The painting was only completed on Saturday, May 2 but has already generated a lot of interest from people in the area.
