Part of central London has been evacuated this morning following a security alert at a city hospital.

Lambeth Police said officers are dealing with a 'security alert’ at St Thomas’ Hospital but no other details have been released.

In a tweet, Lambeth Police said: “Police are dealing with a security alert at St Thomas’ Hospital, SE1.
