Sheffield Business Improvement District has shared this updated list of city centre shops which are still trading, together with their latest opening hours.

Hide AdNew supermarket opening times and 'special hours' for elderly and NHS workers for Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Aldi and Morrisons
The information is correct as of Thursday, April 2, but is subject to change and although the list seems pretty comprehensive, there may of course be other businesses which remain open.
Visitors are reminded to follow government orders to only travel when essential, and it should be noted that many of these stores may be closed on Easter Sunday, April 12, with Sunday trading hours likely to apply on Easter Monday, April 13.
SUPERMARKETS AND FOOD RETAILERS
ALDI
All day everyday key workers in the NHS, Police and Fire Service will take priority ahead of queues into Aldi stores upon showing a valid ID. This is in addition to early access on a Sunday, where they can enter stores 30 minutes prior to opening.
Shopping rules:
Buying limits are being lifted on all items apart from some essentials - shoppers can buy four items of hand wash, toilet roll, certain canned goods and alcohol, and can only purchase two of antibacterial gel, UHT milk and baby formula.

COOPERATIVE FOOD

Hide AdAll stores have dedicated hours for vulnerable or elderly people and NHS workers - this is between 8am to 9am on Monday to Saturday, and between 10am to 11am on Sundays.
Shopping rules:
Customers can only buy two items of any product and one box of eggs.
Multi-buy deals are also suspended to deter customers buying excessive amounts.
City centre stores:

HERON FOODS
Elderly, vulnerable people and their carers can visit 9am-10am for priority shopping. NHS workers have priority in the last hour of trading - normally 5pm-6pm.

Some Express stores are restricting essentials like milk and eggs to one per customer.
Supermarket giant Tesco has not banned children from the store but it is asking people to shop with no more than one other person.
