Why Domino’s Pizza asked a Sheffield artist to create a huge mural on London Road
This is the stunning mural advertising Domino’s Pizza which has been unveiled in Sheffield.
The restaurant chain asked Sheffield artist Marcus Method to create the colourful artwork on London Road, just outside the city centre, on a wall adjoining Lemon & Pepper Grillz.
Melanie Howe, the firm’s food and digital communications manager, said: “Domino’s has had a long-standing and great relationship with the city, and there are nine busy stores catering to loyal pizza fans across Sheffield and local neighbourhoods.
“To celebrate our brand-new yodelling ad, we worked with local artist Marcus Method to create this eye-catching mural that’s already the talk of the town. He was given creative licence to interpret the DOMIN-OH-HOO-HOO yodel into his work and we’re thrilled with the results.
“We hope that it’ll inspire the local community to order a piping hot pizza for their next get together!”
Marcus Method’s distinctive work can already be seen at many other sites, including the new Fred Aldous art store at Fitzalan Square.
