Ecclesall Road crash: Motorbike seen lying in central reservation and Sheffield road closed

A huge police presence was seen on the road at around 4am and it remains closed in both directions this morning.

Yellow markers have been seen all the way up to the petrol station with the road closed from the roundabout up to the junction of Pear Street.

A motorbike can be seen resting on the central reservation and a forensic collision investigation van is at the scene.

Moore Street has also been closed by police as investigations continue.

South Yorkshire Police have been approached for a comment.
