Manager at EBC Properties, Richard Jackson, said: “We’re expanding into next door, and will be keeping the smaller office for now. At some point, we may give up the smaller office, but at the minute, we’re keeping both.”

Further information on the future of Hillsborough Electrical, which has been based on the same site for more than a decade, is not yet known.

This comes as a number of new businesses are moving on to the main road in Crookes such as the second branch of Portuguese patisserie, Lisboa, at 238 Crookes, and the former site of Hercule Café at 203 Crookes is set to become a takeaway.
