La Bottega has opened on Leopold Street offering cakes, pastries, sandwiches an Italian deli, quality coffee and a wine cellar with 75 wine labels.
Its position on the corner with Church Street inspired the name which translates as ‘corner shop’, according to owner Vito Vernia.
It is a third venue for Vito and his business partner, who own Paesani Deli and Pizzeria in Crookes and Grazie restaurant two doors away. Grazie was originally in La Bottega’s unit and moved to bigger premises earlier this year.
Vito said they decided to keep the corner unit because it was “where it all began” for them in Sheffield. Take a look inside.
