Capital&Centric wants creative talent to throw their name in the hat to add some flair to the Fitzwilliam project, a plan for 192 flats on Fitzwilliam Street in the city centre.
Artists can send their portfolio “via DM on any Capital&Centric social media platform” before the end of October 2026 to opt in.
A shortlist of two artists will then be paid to develop an initial concept. Contributions in paper, digital, spray paint and collages are all acceptable.
One artist will then be selected for the final commission, worth up to £9,500, to bring a pair of large-scale murals to life at Fitzwilliam.
Construction on Fitzwilliam is due to start in January 2027.
