Sharrow Vale Road hotspot ‘Cornerstone at Dyson Place’ has announced it will take over the former Toni & Guy hair salon on Pinstone Street, close to the recently renovated Radisson Blu.

The team says the branch, ‘Cornerstone Coffee,’ will be their fourth location, including both a gelato bar and a café at The Hive at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

“Cornerstone number four is coming,” wrote co-owners and brothers Richard and Michael Massarella in a Facebook post.

“Our fourth location, a specialty coffee shop and bakery in the heart of Sheffield, opens this winter in the former Toni & Guy on Pinstone Street.

“Inspired by the cafés and bakeries we love across Europe - house espresso from North Star Coffee Roasters, fresh bakes and pastries, focaccia sandwiches, salads, light lunches and maybe a little gelato.

“Plenty to do for now. Follow Cornerstone Coffee [on Instagram] as it takes shape.”

The row of shops on Pinstone Street are fresh from renovations as part of the Heart of the City redevelopment project, although some roadworks are ongoing to this day.

The new Cornerstone will be neighbours to the Raddison Blu’s popular rooftop terrace bar and café.

It will be the first occupant of the former Toni & Guy, which used to sit between Jones Bootmaker and Pinstone Chambers, since renovations began over five years ago.
