The pubs, cafés and restaurants that won’t reopen in Sheffield on May 17

The hospitality industry is one of the sectors hit hardest by the raft of restrictions aimed at slowing the spread of Covid-19 – and there have been a number of Sheffield casualties.

The city’s pub, café and restaurant owners have done everything they can to keep their establishments going, assisted by Government measures such as business grants and the furlough scheme.

The pandemic has forced some businesses to close, and has accelerated the restructuring and down-sizing of others.

These are the businesses that won't reopen in Sheffield when lockdown rules ease on Monday, May 17.
