Retail and hospitality have been hit especially hard because of changing consumer behaviour and lockdown measures.
Here are 11 shops, pubs and restaurants in Sheffield that have either closed entirely or are yet to reopen since restrictions were eased earlier this summer.
1. TM Lewin

2. Las Iguanas

3. Pret A Manger
The sandwich shop on the corner of Fargate and Church Street was among the branches permanently closed by the chain's bosses - Pret finally came to Sheffield city centre in 2017 and the closure leaves a very prominent site, marked with a plaque as the historic Coles Corner, empty again.
