Gleadless’ Punch Bowl pub closing ‘until further notice’

Posting on Facebook yesterday (Saturday) a spokesperson for the pub wrote how the decision was made with ‘deep regret’ due to the spread of Covid-19.

Hide AdThey wrote (SIC): “Thanks again for your support during this difficult time for us all and I'm looking forward to seeing you all back at the Punchbowl very soon”.
However they added the pub would notify regulars with reopening dates as soon as they were available.


The closure comes as Sheffield South East MP Clive Betts warned on Friday the city could see Covid-19 hospital admissions similar to March ‘if we don’t act now’.
