The photos – showing groups enjoying a few drinks during yesterday (Saturday) evening’s bright but chilly weather – come as heath bosses warned the city is now in the ‘red’ level.
It means there is a ‘material risk of healthcare services being overwhelmed’ and calls for strict social distancing measures.
The council are still waiting for a Government announcement to be made however a ban on households mixing and further restrictions for hospitality venues are likely in the coming days.
