1: THE THIRD AND FINAL COMING
This will be the third and final edition of an event that has already twice sold out and has already established itself as the best of its type anywhere on the planet.
When ML Events brought the greatest riders in the World back to Sheffield, it was always based on an initial three-year plan, which has succeeded even their own high standards and expectations. The goal is to sign off on this chapter not by sitting back but by setting the bar even higher.
2: FAREWELL TO A SHEFFIELD LEGEND
After twenty-seven years in the sport’s elite, Trial legend Adam Raga (Sherco) will make his final competitive UK appearance at the DL12 Indoor Trial V3.0. Raga is a three-time winner in Steel City, since making his debut in 2002.
He has chosen the event at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena to say what is sure to be an emotional goodbye to his many British fans with organisers planning to lay on a special celebration to mark the historic occasion.
3: SPARKS WILL FLY AS HISTORY IS MADE
January will see history made inside the Utilita Arena, as battery powered motorcycles compete for the first time.
The best two e-pilots in the sport will have been chosen. Sondre Haga (GASGAS) and Gaël Chatagno (Electric Motion) bookended the 2024 FIM Trial2 World Championship with victories. Haga claimed a first-ever win for electric motorcycles at this level on the opening day of round one in Japan in May and Chatagno signed off with victory on the last day of action in Spain in September, and both are ready to make sparks fly in Steel City.
Only limited tickets remain available for the DL12 Indoor Trial V3.0 on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Utilita Arena, Sheffield.
