5. Endcliffe Park
Endcliffe Park, located 2 miles southwest of Sheffield city centre, is a 15 hectare city park built to commemorate the Jubilee of Queen Victoria, that has a river, stepping stones, 2 ponds full of ducks and waterfowl, statues and sculptures, woodlands, floral features, and a cafe. It is open daily throughout the year and is free to visit. 6. Graves Park
Graves Park is Sheffield's largest dog and family friendly park in the South-West of the city. The large parkland stretches between Woodseats and Norton and is a hot-spot for hot summer days with families. 7. Sheffield Botanical Gardens
Sheffield Botanical Gardens is a green haven in the middle of the city with lots to see and enjoy, another perfect day out for the family. The Asia Garden has shrubs and trees from the Himalayas and Far East, Osborn's Field has new tender plants and the Evolution Garden shows how plants developed from primitive life forms - and since Gardens are in the city, there are countless places to eat out with your kids. 8. Weston Park Museum
Near the Children's Hospital in Sheffield and adjacent to its famous Weston Park Museum. When visiting Weston Park with children there are lots of fascinating things for them to see – but there is plenty of treasure here for adults too!
